This is the privacy policy for WatchPop, the fidget toys for Apple Watch and its companion iPhone app, published by Reese LLC under the trade name Critter Games.

WatchPop collects no data. It shows no ads, performs no tracking, and has no analytics. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected,” and this page says the same thing in more words.

What WatchPop collects

Nothing. Specifically:

  • No ads, and no advertising SDK in the app.
  • No tracking. WatchPop never shows the tracking prompt, because there is nothing for it to ask about.
  • No analytics of any kind.
  • No account and no sign-up. We never ask who you are.
  • No Game Center and no iCloud sync.
  • No server of ours that the app talks to.

What stays on your devices

Your choices, such as which finish you use and your marble color, and the record of what you own, are kept on your iPhone and your Apple Watch so the two agree. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app removes them.

Purchases

Every purchase goes through Apple. We receive no payment details: no card number, no billing address, and no Apple ID. Apple tells the app that a purchase happened so it can unlock what you bought, and Restore Purchases asks Apple the same question again on a new device. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy, and refunds go through Apple.

Crash reports

Apple may share crash reports with us, and only if you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements. Apple groups them before we see them, and they are not tied to your name or your Apple ID. WatchPop itself sends nothing.

Children

WatchPop collects no information from anyone, of any age. There is no chat and no way for players to contact each other. Purchases are available, and Apple's Screen Time settings can require a password for them or turn them off.

Our other games and this website

Our other games work differently, and some of them show ads. They are covered by the studio-wide privacy policy, which also describes what this website does. None of that changes what is said here about WatchPop.

Changes

If WatchPop ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before the update ships, and the date at the top will change.
